Through mentoring, after-school clubs, multi-sports activities, and community empowerment projects, we provide safe, inclusive spaces where individuals of all ages can grow, learn, and thrive. Our work is driven by the belief that sport has the power to change lives, helping to build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. We do this because we understand the challenges faced by many in our community, and we want to create opportunities, inspire the next generation, and use football as a tool for social change. DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
Welcome to AFC Wolves Development Centre! We are excited to offer specialized training sessions for children in reception up to year 6. Our aim is to provide a nurturing and structured environment where young players can develop their skills and passion for football.
At AFC Wolves, we understand the importance of early development in football. Our dedicated coaching staff consists of experienced qualified coaches who are passionate about helping young players reach their full potential. Through age-appropriate training sessions, we focus on building a solid foundation of fundamental skills, fostering teamwork, and instilling a love for the game.
Our development centre sessions are designed to cater to players of all skill levels. Whether your child is taking their first steps in football or looking to enhance their existing abilities.
CLUB
AFC Wolves is a community football club based in Wolverhampton, providing opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. From junior and youth teams through to men’s and women’s football, we’re proud to offer a welcoming, family-friendly environment where everyone can learn, play, and grow.
Alongside our competitive teams, we run Development Centres for boys, girls, toddlers, and players with disabilities, as well as after-school clubs, holiday camps, and community sessions. Our focus is on creating pathways in football, supporting personal development, and bringing people together through the game.
Driven by passionate volunteers, coaches, and partners, AFC Wolves is more than a football club — it’s a place where friendships are made, skills are developed, and our local community comes first.

Health & Well-Being at AFC Wolves
At AFC Wolves, we understand that sport isn’t just about competition—it’s about overall well-being. That’s why we run dedicated health and well-being sessions designed to support both physical and mental health in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Our sessions incorporate light exercise, social activities, and mindfulness techniques to help people of all ages stay active, reduce stress, and improve their overall quality of life. Whether it’s walking football, fitness classes, or mental health support workshops, our aim is to create a safe space where everyone feels valued, connected, and empowered. Our Mentoring & Education Support programme helps players, volunteers, and young people build confidence, life skills, and career direction — both on and off the pitch.
